It certainly is not Campbell’s but the traditional Vietnamese dish of pho is just as comforting and delicious. Only a few doors down from Transcend People Limited is a branch of the international franchise Pho 24 which was recently named the best place in the world to eat Pho, a place TPL employees are fortunate enough to eat multiple times per week. Pho is Vietnam’s signature dish consisting of a hearty beef broth, white rice noodles and delicately sliced beef or chicken and can be found on any street, any time, day or night. Although everyone has their own favorite pho spot, Pho 24 is the most popular establishment serving this traditional dish. On your next visit make sure to make pho tasting a priority, even Bill Clinton did!

Can’t make it over to Vietnam? Try pho in the states! Any Vietnamese restaurant will serve this dish to the masses, if you’re lucky at all hours. In San Francisco there is even a pho challenge. The winner gets their picture on the wall…that is after finishing 2 lbs of noodles and 2 lbs of beef in under an hour.
From November 6th-8th the management team of TPL had one subject in mind: 2010 strategy. There were numerous topics discussed and even more ideas generated for where TPL is going in 2010. One inspiration for the team building activity was the article The 10 Commandments of Zappos by Jeffrey M. O’Brien for Fortune. Broken into twos, each group was responsible for creating The 10 Commandments of TPL. Results to come on the next posting!
